You didn't make a mistake, I have gotten two replacement A900 and the second being an actual new A900 out of the box at a repair center...sometimes they can help you at the repair center. The mistake you made was panicking and not fallowing up with an official corporate Sprint store. We have two in our area and that is the first place I go sometimes and second if all elsewhere fails.
