hi all...i'm going to give my daughter my 680. it has tons of great programs and games, movies, gps, all kinds of stuff. what i'd like to do is to delete all the contacts and all the calender events but not have to do a hard reset and have to reinstall all the programs. is there a way of doing this...

    thanks

Use a file manager, like FileZ, to delete the following:

    CalendarDB-PDat
    ContactsDB-PAdd
    MemosDB-PMem
    TasksDB-PTod
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://download.skype.com/share/skypebuttons/js/skypeCheck.js"></script>

If you purchased the apps and the registration codes are linked to your hotsync ID, you'll have a problem if she changes the ID.

This is most likely non-transferable.. If you want to re-purchase the programs then that's fine, but as Christina says, when she changes the HSID to have her own ID the programs won't work anymore if they're shareware/commercial.
