    Hi Folks,

just wanted to let folks know about the new hobbyist software app Power Hero. It's designed to help you get the most out of your battery by managing the power-draining features on your treo.

Nice app. One issue: Auto Bluetooth causes occasional crashes on my 755P. ##337# points to TakePhone, but the problem goes away if I disable Auto Bluetooth

And I couldn't get the auto phone off feature (when no signal) to activate...
It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer- Albert Einstein.

Has anyone else tried this program? Sounds great.

I have a Treo 700P & want to validate it is as stable as the rest of their great products. Given the freaky nature of bluetooth on Treo phones....I would be amazed if that portion could perform to perfection.

I've been using it for a while on my 680; no complaints, here.

Check out 1.05beta, I had problems with the signal locator feature switching back on the phone even when I had it scheduled to be off (T680) - this seems to be fixed in 1.05beta.

I think it only showing in the beta section as I read somewhere that Dan cant post to the release section as Rob is away at the minute.

I've been using 1.04 and now 1.05beta on my Treo 700p MR and I haven't had any crashes from it. I only have 2 "issues" with it:
    1) If you dim the screen using option+menu and an event from PH triggers (such as turning off the keyboard light) the screen returns to full brightness.
    2) If you're bluetooth headset is paired, the bluetooth will still turn off after x min of inactivity while not on a call (the author is aware of this and is working on it).

Outside of that, PH has just been incredible and very solid! The bluetooth feature is very well done. I've definitely noticed that my battery lasts longer too so it's definitely worth the $$ in my opinion. Dan does good work and is very responsive (just like the rest of the staff at Hobbiest Software)
