I just asked the Opera Mini guy that shows on my MSN buddy list and he tells me that he is not aware of any Treo issues and asked me to report them if I have any issues. So it sounds like they didn't do anything about us. Lame..!

Opera Mini 4 beta 2 locks up my T755p after a few minutes. Same old crap.

This is with J9 2.2.14ARM java installed.

I'm using it on my Sprint Treo 650 with great success. It's fast and so far only crashed the first time it ran.

I've been using it on my Verizon 700p with the latest Java. No problems at all.

No problems on my 700p Sprint.... no crashes or freezes and using the latest java.

Just installed the new prc on top of the old one and it went through a new "install" process when launched the first time and kept all my settings and previous site visits.

Works great on my TX and 680. No crashes or freezes. No "out of memory" errors. I have the latest Java VM. I love it on the TX with the big screen.

    Java VM: J9 2.2.14 ARM

Selected "Use Double Buffering" and "Use High Res Coordinates"

    Memory Maximum: 32Mb

    Stack Size: 32Kb

Crashes after 1-2 page loads on my 755p. Man, so frustrating. This browser looks like it would be really cool if it didn't crash so much!! Argh.

Opera mini 4 beta 2 with latest JVM used to crash on my Treo 650 every time.

After thoroughly cleaning up all the Java and Opera files with Filez and
then reinstalling latest JVM and Opera mini 4 beta 2, now it looks great. Working like a charm so far. (still needs rigorous testing...)

Where can you find the latest Java?

Following those steps to delete java and reinstalling it all doesn't seem to help. It doesn't crash, but it does lock up on me.

Working just fine for me, from a general browsing perspective. I installed the newest Java and away I went. My gripes:

    1) I wish I could set this as the default browser for my Treo 755p
    2) The menu in the browser doesn't seem to be activated by the menu keep on my 755p.
    3) I haven't figured out how to get it to do landscape viewing yet...

But it is much faster than blazer... that is for sure...

The screen on a 755p is square.... what would being able to view the screen 90 deg. CW or CCW get you?
