While driving to work this morning my 700p (with Sprint 1.10 MR) experienced a rather strange crash, causing Snappermail to dump my email the first time since installing the MR. The error:

    A crash occurred on 8/28/07 at 6:17am [ed:Eastern time zone] while running "<unknown application>": aoeKernel.c, Line:816, AOE Fatal Assert

I had Kinoma Player streaming a newscast of the lunar eclipse (via an Orb stream) but it had recently locked up due to driving through a cellular dead zone, and it was attempting to "buffer" the stream. The reset occurred just after getting back to the in-service area.

Not even 5 minutes after that, I lost track of the eclipsed moon. Did the impending sunrise overpower the eclipsed moon, or is this some strange coincidence tied into this strange Treo 700p crash?

Are you an Indian-Indian (as opposed to an American-Indian, I suppose)? We have some weird superstitions when it comes to eclipses...
