I had a crash last night. After totally locking up it then went into a "palm" and "access powered" continuous loop

A soft reset did not help, so I finally did a hard reset and then used Backiupman to restore and everything worked fine - until i tried to hotsync to my desktop today.

it worked fine except for outlook Calendar which would not sync

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

Did you check the "custom" setting in HotSync to make sure that Outlook Calendar was checked?

If you sync through Exchange then you need to do a sync theough email to get this back.

You can try a restore individual files in backupman and try adding the calendar database.

If your problem is like mine this occurs every few weeks or so.
I remove the battery, put it back in, run the standard calendar program once. Then sync. Sometimes it takes a few tries. I'm not sure. When it still doesn't take (5 tries or so) I turn the phone out and remove the SD chip.

This was true for my 700p and 755p. I always run NvBackup (free) automatically at 3:30 am just to make sure I've got everything (it keeps the last 7 days automagically backed up). I only sync on the computer a few times a week. I've recently been having NVbackup sync to a ftp server every-night too. Now I'm not even concerned about the computer, but it's nice to have it in case I left the phone in the car or at work...
