    Hi all,

If a skin has a background color value in it, it overrides any other color setting.

    Thanks.

Shimon, I must say you are one of the most hard working developers out there. We really appreciate you incorporating our suggestions. Thanks so much.

    - Wallpaper: fix non-rectangular images fitting on screen.

    - i-bar: “Prompt…” list navigation is ‘wrap-around’.

    - Preferences: fixed some operational issues (moving
    through pref pages).

    - Preferences: added option to show tip/s when search is empty.

    - Call log: fixed reset when purging list.

Regarding the "Details" screen with a wallpaper - decided this will
for a planned re-do of the screen layout (showing more info at once, etc.)

    Thanks.
Thank you Shimon! The images look great without having to resize! And thanks for the option to keep the very top solid!

OK, I think this is an old subject, but I don't remember the solution. I don't as a rule use the dial pad in TP, but when I do, I hate the weird tones it makes when the buttons are touched.

In order to get DTMF tones, do I need to install another shsh application? If I choose not to do that, is it possible to turn off the default tones so that the dial pad is silent or just "clicks"?

    I'm using a 680.

Is there any way to increase the number of lines of information displayed on the Find page? I have my Treo set up using the i-bar and it only displays the first 5 speed dial entries. With the current arrangement I am left with quite a bit of blank space at the bottom of the screen (looks like 3 more lines could be displayed).

It would be nice if the whole area could be used so I wouldn't have to scroll down as often.

It's not a big deal, and I probably shouldn't even ask, given the number of recent upgrades that have been done. Thanks for doing so much to improve an already great product.

^ I did some more playing around and discovered that the issue is because I use FontSmoother to reduce the font size in TakePhone. With the smaller font, the 5 speed dial entries that are displayed only take up about 2/3 of the available space. When I turn off FontSmoother, they take up the full space.

I should have done this checking before I posted. It would still be nice if more than 5 speed dial entries could be displayed at one time, but I realize this probably isn't possible. Sorry for the false alarm.

    Hi,

Actually it's a good point. I will try to allow TAKEphONE to consider FontSmoother and allow more line, later on.

    Thanks.

    Shimon,

I was just wondering if this is normal. When using the built-in skin, going to the Options->Fonts under "Text in lists & status lines:" there is an option for "Color"; there is an option for black or white and border option. However, if I use a skin besides the built-in skin, i.e. ALP, I do not have the option to choose whether the color is black or white and there is no border option. I kind of want the border option for ALP since having a black font color defeat the purpose of the dark skin. Having the border option enhances the white text. I'm just curious that's all.

    Hi,

Color setting within the skin always override the internal setting, so the button to select colors is not there.

    Hi all,

    Version 7.50 (025) posted at www.shsh.com/beta

    - Wallpaper: used in contact “details” screen,
and in call log “details” screen.

    - Call log: added option (in “Misc2” prefs) –
“typing starts filter” (in stead of contact search).

(to avoid conflict with apps like Butler).

    - Display: added support for smaller fonts
(using FontSmoother and the likes) in lists.

    - Display: fixed overlapping notes icon in FIND list.

    - i-Bar: fixed wrapped text display on buttons.

    - General: fixed contacts image display.

    Thanks.

wow - amazing in-depth program. Lots of user options, and very intuitive layout. Very easy to navigate via the 5-way. Will running this program affect battery usage at all?

I like what you did with the contact "details' screen- my color background carries over as well.

I notice that once on the contact "details"s screen, I cannot scroll through all of the notes for the contact -the first 3 lines appear but cant get any lower unless I open Palm contact app itself.

I thought I we were able to scroll through the notes before this update?

    TIA

    Hi,

    Do you mean fields ?

You can scroll only through the non-empty fields.
Now the notes field is displayed on the bottom of the screen.

To browse through ALL fields - use the 5-way navigation - move right, then up/down
