    Hi,

    I've just signed up with Virgin Australia and am attempting to get my Palm Treo 680 working with GPRS data.

    Should it be possible to get a Palm Treo working with Virgin GPRS data?

    (The Virgin Tech I spoke to hadn't even heard of a Palm Treo...kind of highlights the battle we're up against down under!)

    In the connection settings under the Communication tab I've tried:

    Service: VirginInternet
    Connection: GPRS
    Username: Blank
    Password: Blank
    APN: VirginInternet

    In fallback I have "None" selected.
    IP Address Automatic
    Query DNS: Box ticked.

    I then press "Connect"

    Phone says:

    Attaching GPRS please wait
    Signing On
    Initializing
    Connecting to Virgin Internet
    Incomplete setup
    Error: 0x121A

    Can anyone suggest what I could try? Apparently many other smart phones have been able to work with Virgin Mobile Australia...I am hopeful the Treo is just as capable!

    Have you tried a Soft Reset then try to connect?

    Thanks Pulster...that was all there was to it! Worked a treat...nothing like a simple solution...much appreciated!!

    I've been trying to get MMS and Internet working with Virgin on my Treo 680. I've been able to connect to MMS fine, but when I try to connect to VirginInternet it says

    ----
    Initialising
    Connecting to Virgin Internet
    Signing on...
    Canceling...
    ----

    I've tried resetting etc. but that does nothing. I know that other people have had this problem before...any ideas? (I've set the APN to VirginInternet, IP to Automatic and Query DNS to yes, blank username and password...)
