I am looking to sell my Treo650 and have performed a Zero Out Reset http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/W...j(887)#zeroout When I check the phone using ##786# after the Zero Out Reset the phone number still shows up in the MDN and the MIN.

Is there any way to remove this number from the MDN and MIN as well?

I have not seen this issue addressed anywhere here.

    Any help is much appreciated…

This number is not by chance stored somewhere on the phone where i can easily acquire it, correct? If I can't locate it, I will have to call Sprint to obtain it again for this phone.

Correct. You'll need to call Sprint.

Called Sprint... They provided the MSL number instantly and that finished the Zero Out Reset process which removed my phone number from the MDN & MIN.

Folks need to know that this too is an important step that must be taken to complete the Zero Out Reset process. Once you have done the Zero Out Reset steps check the MDN & MIN numbers by pressing ##786# to ensure that your phone number is not stored as the MDN & MIN numbers. Otherwise, you will have to call your service provider as well, if you don't have the Master Subsidy Lock [MSL] 6 digit number number to unlock the phone.

Once you are at the ##786# screen, hit the menu key, select RESET, enter MSL number, select OK. That's it...

Now the Treo650 phone is 100% secure as all phones that are sold or the ownership is transferred should be.

    Kudos to Bill...
