WHat is the name of the file in my backup folder that is for all my contacts? I had to do a hard reset and my contacts that are in my 650 now are not my most current contacts. Thanks!

The contacts database is named "ContactsDB-PAdd.pdb", but unless you're using BackupBuddy for Windows, it's not backed up to your desktop. On the desktop, your contacts are kept in address.dat in your /Palm/<username>/address directory (where <username> is some variation of your Hotsync id), and can only be installed to your device via the Contacts conduit during Hotsync.

You'll also see another file named, address.bak; that's the previous version of address.dat. Try renaming address.dat to address.old and address.bak to address.dat, then launch the Palm Desktop; if you see all of your contacts there, then change the action of the Contacts conduit to "Desktop overwrites handheld" and hotsync.
