Snap and Splash Notes, from Splash Data are actually old applications from HandsHigh software. Snap is actually "Slap" from HandsHigh, and Splash Notes is actually "ThoughtManager", the very nice outliner app from HandsHigh.

I've used both for years, especially Slap, and they are both very useful products. I recently saw Splash seems to have aquired them, but I have not tried the Splash versions.

It's my understanding Snap is being given away for free for a short time. But Splash Notes is included as just a trial, and will cost $30 to permanently activate, including he Windows desktop component.

To reset the "home" key, press and hold the "home" key to get a list of recent apps. Choose Snap and deactivate it. Also select a different button and check the box to "auto disable".

The "Snap" for screenshots was made prior to the Treo and therefore requires some caution in button selection.

I use the HRCapt because it is a DA and don't require assignment to a hard button.

I add a couple more apps including a free unzipping program so you can download zipped applications while on the go. I never use my PC, partly because I use Vista and they have not worked out the kinks yet.
