I know, I know, people come here all the time asking for your advice on bluetooth headsets. I looked around on here, and all my searches came up finding the opposite of what I'm looking for.

What I want is a great headset WITHOUT any LEDs or lights or anything, at least visible to people around me, one that I can wear without a hook (even if I need to buy those Jabra eargel thingies) so I can wear with glasses, and preferably one with background noise reduction.

Almost everyone I've come across has some kind of light or a hook. I'm thinking the Apple one won't have that, but, it's not out right now, and I'm not sure about the background noise thing. I can do without the background noise reduction, but if it's there, I'd be willing to pay for it.

As far as price goes, I'd like to keep it around $125, but I could go a little more, depending on features. Now, the thing is, I don't travel too much and mainly talk on my phone at home or in the car. Also, my friend that I talk to the most is getting married soon, so I'm not sure how much of a demand I'll have for one, but it would be nice to have around.

I don't own one, but it looks like the Jawbone might be sans light or LED.

Nope. It has a nice, slowly-blinking white light.

ARGH! Why do they put lights on these things anyway? The only people that can see them are everyone else.

Do you have an aversion to duct or electrical tape? A small strip will block out any light and if cut correctly, shouldn't be that noticable.

I would recomend the Samsung WEP200 with a bit of electrical tape. I don't think you are going to get one without a light because without one you won't know if it is on or off.

The WEP fits in your ear, and has been wonderful with my 700 and 755.

Can't they put the light inside? I just don't like them flashing when you're walking around, or when you're on the phone. I guess it doesn't matter, because I plan on only using it in the car or around the house.

I think I'm really just trying to find an excuse to not spend the money on one.

    I stand corrected. Thanks, Bill.
