After installing new Palm Desktop for 680 and going thru Perry's install process for 650 . 680 I am finding after install Docs2g0 and "addit?" that Hotsync will get stuck when installing Applications. I can disable that in Hotsync and all goes well but if I don't it get stuck.

I seem to be having that problem now as well on my new 755p.

I think it began after I installed Docs to Go Premium. This is very annoying.

Maybe this problem only occurs in Texas?

I thought somebody would jump right in with a solution

Delete everything in the following directories:

C:\Program Files\palmOne\<username>\Install
C:\Program Files\palmOne\<username>\CardInst
C:\Program Files\palmOne\<username>\QuickInstall\ExpCard
C:\Program Files\palmOne\<username>\QuickInstall\HandHeld

where <username> is some variation of your Hotsync ID.

Love the animated gif for your picture. Can you get that to work on the phone app screen of your treo?

I'm afraid that would be too distracting.

OK, but when I try to hotsync again I see DocsToGo.prc appear again in the \Install folder and hotsync hangs again in the same spot. Obviously a problem with their conduit.

Sheesh,
