Hello all...thanks for taking the time to read my post.

    This is the situation:

    - I know nothing about this Palm Treo 650.
    - I have a client who has asked me to transfer some chat logs (that are in the inbox) to his computer somehow. The logs themselves need to be submitted as evidence in a court case.
    - The system does not appear to support email. When I try and email from the phone, I do not receive any message sent.
    - However, I can send text messages from that Treo to my personal phone (and from there, can forward on).

The problem I am encountering is the amount of data I can copy and forward. Some of these chat logs are about 4 typewritten pages long. All I can copy to the clipboard at any one is four lines. Doing that manually would take someone weeks to do.

I of course cannot just 'reply', I need to forward.

I somehow need to transfer the chat logs to 'something' that will allow me to print. Ideally, I would just hit 'forward' and send to a mailbox, but there is no option to do that...

While I welcome any and all assistance, I will need detailed instructions. I can't really do much if I get a reply that says 'Easy...just beam' or something. As I have no experience with this device, it will have to be spoon fed to me!

    Thanks again,

    TN

Assuming your talking about the SMS messaging?
Try this or http://www.funkeemonk.com/funkeestory/ or the latest version of missing sync does the same thing.

DBMGreen...Thanks for your input on this. Those programs are exactly what I am looking for, but they are Mac. Are there any Windows equivalents?

Again assuming this is about SMS messages -
Try the Treo Desktop browser available at http://www.treodesktop.com/
lets you see the phone logs and SMS messages on your Windows PC.

Or you could also try a DOS program called sms2csv. I don't remember where I downloaded it from but the README file mentions this as the developer's email address. You may want to send an email and check - multik@multik.org
