I was able to find the backup folder on my PC (Windows XP) for my old Treo 600, no problem.

But now I can not find the backup folder for my 755p. Does anyone have any pointers for where it might be? I have looked where the user guide says to, and it is not there. I need to find it and rename it so I can do a clean install of the replacement 755p I am getting.

    Thanks!

Should be something like: C:\Program Files\PalmOne\your name
    in my case:
    C:\Program Files\PalmOne\ClingerB

unless youve hotsynced since youve started looking for it.

if so then all that data will have been over written.
ONE can be spelled as NEO.

I do not have a PalmOne folder in my Program Files folder (after having refreshed the view). Even though I can sync with no problem.

    Thanks for your help.

More recent installations would be named "Palm", not "Palmone".

I think I found it. Looks like the new 755 sync program created a new backup folder and data in the old Handspring folder from my 600. 755 specific data like Versamail and On Demand are listed there along with the right last accessed date.

So in my case it is Program Files/Handspring/my name/backup. I hope this helps someone, it took me enough time to sort.

    Thanks for your help guys.
