    Other than the obvious part of it actually installing without killing treos?

    Mine works a TINY bit better for some reason

    -Same BT problems
    -Same call drop problems
    -less lag

    The tethered mode might check (I think I recall that it did). The SD method does not....

    Yes, the SD method will re-install after you have installed it.

    I updated my treo first on the USB method and second with the SD card method, yes twice on the same unit about a week and a hlaf apart..

    My first time around, I got the ever-increasing "free space error" on my unit, to the point that it would reset and not run programs when enough free space was used up (even though it only showed 41 mb of 60 used).

    When I re-flashed it with the SD method, I have not had any "free space error" messages and it seems to run a little more smoothly.

    I would say it may work a little better if there were minor glitches in the first install. Otherwise, same code as previous update should = same update.
