Yesterday afternoon I received my Seidio 3200mah battery, here are my first impressions so far...

When I opened the package first thing I did was to verify that the back door matched color with the Treo and it does. The texture of the surface looks and feel just like the OEM door. Door locks and unlocks with the built-in button and works great. Perfect color and texture matching my blue 755p was a great first impression.

I also was very pleasantly surprised that the battery is not as thick as I thought it would be (see pictures below) and fits perfectly in the battery compartment of the Treo. It fits perfectly in my belt pouch made by Seidio as well, although I can't use my rubberized case with the battery on. After a day of using it I even think I prefer the way it feels in the hand especially when holding it close to my ear during long conversations.

Here is the scope so far on battery life, I charged it overnight last night and left for work this morning around 4:30am, BT has been on all day as well as chatter push email, have around 1 1/2 to 2 hours talk time and about half an hour use of mobitv, beside some internet usage and some playing (Village Sim rocks!). It is almost midnight and battery is still 43%, simply amazing for first charge especially when Seidio recommendation is a few cycles before reaches it maximum potential. OEM battery would have been long dead by now. I will post some updates on how it performs in the long run. (Update:8:00am and battery is 32%.

Only recommendations to Seidio is to make replacement doors easily available to careless buyers that break or lose theirs and also to sell a rubberized case for the 755p with the extended battery (maybe a combo of the battery and the case for a discount to previous buyers ). (Update: Seidio does have Premium Skin case (silicone), Crystal, Hybrid and the Rubberized case for the 755p with Extended Battery)

Thanks Seidio for making another great products for us power users.

Once I get home & charge it up, I will also post my findings...

Thanks a lot RR! After checking their website they not only have the silicone case but also a rubberized case. Placing order as I type for the rubberized case. They never cease to surprise me with how fast they come out with products.

I can't wait to receive mine.

I think this is the better bang for the buck (compared to the 2100mah)

Might work for some people that don't care about the Frankenstein look. I already had given away my 700p with the extended battery to my wife and $20 bucks just to use the cover seems expensive to me. If I remember correctly Seidio used to sell the battery cover for the 700p with the reset hole for like $9.95 or so.

Everyone to it's own but I think the 3200mah from Seidio is a great value and my phone doesn't look like Frankenstein.

Hehe I had a PPC-6700 with the extended battery and that was a huge humpback. I am really impressed with how slim the extended battery for the 755p is. Since I have both the 2400 and the 3200 it allows me to tailor the battery usage based on how long I think I will be away from a charger and always have a charged battery if I need to leave to work without time to recharge the phone. Works great for me.

I agree! My brother has a 6700 and an extended battery! Now that is the real humpback right there! I'm really surprised by your pictures how slim the extended battery is. I'm going to get one. I'm just waiting for the burgundy to become available.

I got today my Super Slim Rubberized Hard Case and it fits perfectly and still with the case it doesn't feels bulky and works great. Almost a week after using it the life of the battery has not increase noticeably but is working as expected. Yesterday I activated CallRec by mistake and ran for over 6 hours and they battery had plenty of life to let me keep on working until I got home. OEM and 2100 battery would have died by then.

Almost one week later and extremely pleased.

Treo 755 3200 mah battery for Treo 755 (Burgundy) is now also available. Seidio offers the 3200 mah extended battery in both blue and Burgundy.

Oh great! I've been waiting for the burgundy to be available. Question: I signed up to get notifications from seidio for 755p accessories and I never got any email. How come?

Would also be interested in having an extra cover.

they won't sell the covers because then we will find out that we can use the batteries that we already have from the treo 700. Then we have no reason to buy there expensive package of battery AND cover.

David, please let us know if we can only ordcer the battery cover.

    thanks
