    Hello All,

I have had a T680 for 5 months now, and for pretty much that time, I have had the following case: http://www.boxwave.com/products/armo...o-680_2433.htm

In choosing this case I opted for the plexiglass screen protection over form factor. It seems that for anything other than say, checking off a task, I slide the 680 out of its case to use it, and then put it back in.

That being said, my biggest "fault" with my 680 is the form factor caused by the case. It is just a tad too bulky for my liking, and I thought that I could probably find a holster type case that is slimmer on the form factor, but would still offer full screen protection, when the 680 is not in my hands.

Can anyone recommend a case with the above info?

I have found these two cases and for both, wonder how much weight/thickness they add, could you comfortably put it in your pocket, etc.

    A nutshell-http://store.treocentral.com/content/accessories/4-25--147.htm

Does the clip add bulk, or is pretty slim?

    and a combo pouch-- http://store.treocentral.com/content...-132--1752.htm

with an ultra slim case-- http://store.treocentral.com/content...-123--1837.htm

Thanks very much for your opinion and taking your time to help me,

I too am looking for a form-fit case for my new Treo 680. As far as I can tell, all the cases out there are the old fit to the Treo 700/750 and don't truly fit the 680. I'm using my old case for my Treo 600 which fits loosely as well. If anybody knows of a case made for the 680, please let me know!

Here's a different take on cases. Since the 680 is both my phone and PDA, I want it with me all the time. I worry about just putting it in my shirt or pants pocket. I looked at what was available, but nothing is really form fitting. Besides, the 680 would still weigh down my pocket. It's just a bit too big to be pocket comfortable.

    So here's my solution:

I bought a Palm belt clip pouch. It clips to my belt (and so doesn't weight down my shirt pocket), opens on top with a magnetic flap and hold the Treo securely but not too tightly. There are others available for relatively little money but I got a good deal on this one.

I use a Boxwave screen protector so I'm not worried about touching the screen. And I picked up a set of egrips. If you haven't heard of them, they are thin rubber pieces that stick onto the sides and back of the 680 and makes it feel very secure.

I'm really paranoid about dropping my treo, so I used to keep it (and my 600 before) in a hard 'armor' case which I was fairy happy with, but missed out on the touch screen. Also, I found the armor case slippery, so it would protect my treo, but give me more cause to need that protection.

Now I use a Seidio rubberized case, which I really like. It doesn't protect like the armor, but because it has such good grip, I feel far less in need of the protection

Thanks guys, I"ll check out those options. Does the rubberized case collect lint and all that other stuff in your pocket?

    Thanks,

Be wary of the hard rubberized case. I had one on a 750 and some dust or something got under the case. It ended up scratching the silver plastic near the screen.

I actually use a BlackBerry case for the 8700 model, It fits like it was made for the Treo 680 and has an excellent rotating belt clip.

    As seen Here.
