I love the new look and functionality of 5.1. One issue that I can't seem to change is the limit on the number of files copied to the computer during a hotsync. Does anyone know how to sync them all regardless of how many you have?

Certainly. That's how I use it most of the time.

I've used CallRec with a bluetooth handsfree headset and the recording only had my voice when I was done. So I heard my entire side of the conversation, but nothing of the person I was talking to.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Not so with my SE HBH-660. How are you initiating recording? Try it with "Auto record..." set.

    I do have autorecord set.

I wish that CallRec would ignore Double-side clicks when set to Single click. I want to have ProfileCare's Manual Profile hotkey set to the side button, so I have it set to Double-side button. Press-and-hold on Shift or Option just creates problems (It pops up when I'm typing).

But if I set CallRec to start recording a memo on single-voice click, then double-click, it starts and stops a recording. Be nice if it would only do it if you didn't double-click.

Only what is missing in CalRec for me is SD card mount on PC function. This is availble in mVoice. After monting SD on PC we have easy access to files on SD including all voice memo in CallRec folder.

I have a program called Card Reader that does exactly what you state above...it mounts the Treo like a USB drive. What's nice about the program is that it works for all files...not just the CallRec files. It wasn't very expensive and I use it...a lot. In fact, my Treo has replaced my USB thumb drive.

Thank you for information about Card Reader. I have Card Export II but with this program I have sometimes in my Treo 680 comunications problem. In fact I use mVoice only to mount SD card on PC, for voice recording I prefer CallRec.
    I will check Card Reader.

Does anyone get the following behavior?

Some calls get recorded fine. Other times, the duration of the recording is correct but the recording contains no audio whatsoever.

I'm still on the trial. Other apps I have installed that I know interact with the phone functionality include 2Dial, CityID, and VolumeCare.

No, but since you brought up oddities, I would like to add one.

If I record a memo (just me talking), it stalls about every 4 seconds so basically it drops a word or 2 every 4 seconds. However, recording phone conversations is fine. Anyone else?

I love call rec, but i have one minor problem with it. Whenever I launch callrec, no matter what color theme I have it will always revert to original, all the time. Does this happen to anyone else? V4.0 didn't do this, my color theme always stayed the same no matter what.

I just think that blue is the color of the CallRec program. My only problem with CallRec is that you cannot start it if you're on a call and the phone lights are off. You have to turn the backlight on. Sometimes I'm talking and want to start recording, forget about the light, and find I didn't record anything. I have mine set to hit the side button twice to start it, by the way.

No it's not, at least on my phone anyway. No matter what color theme I use, whenever I go to use callrec v5.0 the color theme always changes to the "original" (blue and white) color theme, even after I close the app and go to another one. The only application I've seen this happen with is flash player, but that's it.

All my recorded calls go into my SD card which is 50x speed; & deleting them is speedy.

Are you using a high speed card or normal speed one?

It is your sd card. I find that sandisk are the best.

i guess its normal speed, its a scandisk, doesn't say high speed on it and i don't remember what i paid for it. it just says scandisk with 2.0 gb and sd under that.

looks similar to this one, so its probably last years version or something

I had the same problem with my 2 GB card, until I reformatted it to 32k clusters. Use a card reader and format your card with your PC, using the following DOS instruction:
    Code:
    format X: /FS:FAT /A:32K
Where "X" is the drive letter for your card.

Is CallRec preferred over mvoice for most people? I see few mvoice threads but many CallRec ones. I've used mvoice in the past but I'm thinking of trying out CallRec.
