Okay with the 700p after the MR we went to a PRL of 20227.
My 755p has a PRL of 60608. Do different devices have different PRL numbers?
Sorry - I have only been with Sprint for 6 months so a PRL and getting it updated is new to me (Nextel did not do this that I was aware).
    Thanks

Thanks - so far it has been better than my 700p.
I really like and enjoy the Treo (I had 3 different Bberries) but they do have their quirks.
My first 700p had a speaker crackle issue. I fried that one with the MR. The second one (replacement) had a better speaker but the buttons felt really loose even though it was not a refurb.
My 755 has a pretty good speaker (other than Palm's new version of having an extra tone before every alarm) and all of the buttons were very stiff, but seem to be breaking in now. The only one is the power button does not seem to have as much of a tactile "click" when I press it compared to the others. I guess if anything it will be less likely to accidentally turn on while in the case.
Other than that I think I got a good one (Sprint sent it as a replacement for the 700 for free) and am "good to go."
    Thanks for clarifying the PRL.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a PRL (and why should I care what it is)?

Your phone's Preferred Roaming List, or PRL is important because it is helpful in knowing which carrier you are roaming with in determining how your phone will behave in certain geographic areas.

60608 here, I think were all going to be the same, being the first batch of 755p's.
