Hi Guys, I noticed that my treo 755p seems to lag horribly when I have low or no signal strength, even if I'm not using a program that is requiring wireless data.

Has anyone else noticed this? I wonder what the cause could be?

    Thanks so much,

    Tom

    Hi.

Yes, I've noticed something similar on my 755P. It used to happen on my 650, too.

I think there must be something about searching for a signal that eats up a bunch of system resources or something.

I can be playing Bejeweled or something and getting on the elevator, at work, (which knocks me off my calls, occasionally) will make it all but freeze... until I reacquire a signal.
    * Stuck patches? Partial erase worked for me.
    * Stuck virtual keyboard? Partial erase AND folder deletion worked for me.

All treo's get hung up (or worse reset) when there is poor signal coverage. The lack of signal response from the radio causes the CPU to slowdown, or freeze/reset. This has been improved with the 755p but it still does occur.
