I really like the 755p. However, the earpiece sound quality seems much more muffled and harder to hear people during conversations than with my 700p (and 650 for that matter).

Simple question: Are you people noticing/experiencing this also? I would think PALM would not change the earpiece at all, so maybe it's a defective phone?

FYI, I have Volume Care installed and whether it's enabled or not, it still sounds muffled/hard to hear other people.

    Votes and thoughts please?

    Thanks!!!

thanks and to get back on topic, yes my 750 is deff better than the 600 and 650. i do have those phones, however i never realy got into them to do any research on programs like the one you telling me to go to.

the 650 was very low and not clear. im assuming this is what RF is in reference too, it was horrible

I think the sound quality is much better on the 755 then the others. I had to use Volume Care on both the 650 and 700, as soon as I got my 755 I could tell a big difference off the bat. Sound is very clear on both ends, speaker phone is nice and loud. I have to keep the volume down now with the 755 where as the other ones the volume was up
Remember, this is my opinion ! We all have a right to our own.....

It is WAAAAY much better, I never did need volume care for my 650 and I'll blow my ears off if I have set the volume to high on the 755P. Earpiece is way better on the 755P because I can actually hear people on it, on my 650I had the bad audio output so everything sounded like it was underwater, all muffled.

Well, WAY, WAY, super much bettter. This evening we went to an almost sold out Cardinals game, we lost But any calls I got during the game I could actually keep a conversation going. I could never carry on a conversation with my Treo 650 with the radio on, so this was a definate improvement. I actually talked instead of having to scream.

I agree. 755p volume much better than 650 and 700. I didn't even install volumecare on it.

    Wow!!!!!

    Thanks for the feedback people!!!

I just thought it was part of the design. As I mentioned, my earpiece quality is muffled and hard to understand.

    I guess I am getting a NEW 755p today.

    Thanks everyone!!!!
