Another new feature! After every reset, I can not tap on the screen with my stylus and select what's there. What WILL be selected will be something random somewhere else on the screen until I recal the touchscreen in prefs. Yay!

I had this once. I deleted a .db or something in the Saved/Unsaved preferences. I just looked but couldn't find it; try again tonight if someone doesn't post earlier.

My touchscreen is screwy since the MR, too.

I'm having that same problem. I can't wait until palm comes out with a fix.

As mentioned by Ohmster - see a possible solution here:

BTW, I was having this problem prior to applying the MR so YMMV.

    Egn,

Thanks for the link. On the drive home last night I recalled that it was either the entire Saved or Unsaved preferences.

I had this issue before the MR... haven't had any resets yet after so I don't know if that has changed...

The more I'm hearing of this the more it sounds like every 700p out there seems to have come out of the factory a bit differently (maybe its the way the ROMs were flashed originally). Each one of these things seems to react differently to the ROM.

Yup, this problem occurred before the MR. What fixed it for me was not letting the network set the time zone, just the date and time!

This is ****ing retarded. The fix didn't fix it. Now I have to recalibrate after every damn time I soft-reset.

I think I might go after the BB or the 700wx. I'm sick of Palm and their junk.

Deleting the Saved Prefs didn't fix it?

Maybe your problem is different as you lose calibration after a soft reset - I lost calibration every time the screen went off. Imagine calibrating before each and every use.
