I'm currently using the Palm leather pouch side case and I think it looks just way too big and ugly with my 755p. I just don't like it. So after trying so many different types of cases I decided to go with something simple, clean, classy and light. So I found this case:

Treonauts claims that this case has a width of 25mm compared to 42mm for the Palm pouch side case. That is a huge difference plus it seems to have a smaller height. I don't know about you guys, but I think this is it for me. I got tired of the metallic cases, the leather ones with cut-outs for easy access, the side pouch with the magnet. The only stupid thing about this case is that it is on backorder. WTF??

I want this case so bad. I review that Treonauts review have been keeping an eye on the stores to see when it comes back in stock. I wonder if my 755p would fit in this case while in in the SPE clear hard case.

Well, I can definitely say which case is *not* the best.

The Smartphone Experts case and holster combo. HORRIBLE.

The skin is okay but not as necessary grip-wise on the 755 as, say, the 650. The holster is flimsy, doesn't keep the phone in it, looks like it might break by getting bumped. Really, just a horrible product. With my phone in the skin and in the holster, there was a quarter inch gap between the top of the phone and the holster piece that goes over it. If I leaned...out went the phone.

Actually I have been doing without a case since the grippy skin seems to make it moot. I always keep my phone in my briefcase anyway. I had a nice Sena flipper case for the 700p, but it made the thing huge. I am, for now, enjoying the slimness of the 755p sans case.

I e-mailed TC asking when they'd get the case in stock and this was their reply:

    Hello

Unfortunately, we have no ETA for that item at this time, which means we have no date set from our manufacturer as to when the product will be shipped to us. The reason for this delay is related to the manufacturer and is beyond our control. Please continue to check our website for any updates.

(No ETA means the Manufacturer does not know when the shipment will be delivered, it is possible it could arrive tomorrow, or it may take several weeks, this is usually the case when the manufacturer has a higher volume of requests for an item than it can produce.)

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Right now I'm using a combo of Palm's Leather Side Case and their Air Case. The holster that came with the air case is nice, but I like the leather case better. The air case helps to bulk up the 755p a bit so it fits nice and snug into the side case.

I don't understand the air case. From the looks of the picture, is the plastic covering the face of the Treo? Not good, if so. The Treo looks like it's positioned backwards. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

You do carry the Treo backwards in those cases. It protects the screen.

It is a clear hard case that is in two halfs. The screen, keyboard, and all ports are open for access. The clip holster is how you wear it on your belt. I do not like the all clear case personally, to me the case scratches easier then the phone, I understand it is only 30 bucks, and a replacement phone is a lot more, I bought the case, and within a week it was noticably scratched.

Tiburon, I agree with you 100%. I bought the same deal, skin is great, but holster sucks b*lls

Does the 755 come with a slip case?

    From Sprint's Web Site:

    Included Accessories
    Battery
    Battery Door
    Charger
    *Carry Solution*

Nice of them to throw in the battery door.

Nope, no case at all. I can't believe they're calling the battery and battery door accessories.

I got the air case and holster while waiting for my plane at the airport (Palm store). At first it seemed to be pretty good, till a soft reset was needed and I had to try to open the case. Got it open, but it was tight, would have preferred the old style soft reset hole option, but would prefer a device that no reset was needed

I then found that you really need to make sure your battery cover is on correctly before re-installing the case. It will fit, but found out after my Palm seemed to reset itself on occasion. Tried without for a day no issues, it is back on.

I think the case works very well and have had no issues with the holster. Granted I am not one who check my phone every 5 minutes and turn it off during meetings etc.

"carry solution" would be the free brochure detailing the accessories including perhaps an incomplete or inadequate "picture" of a case. He HE!
Now that would be a soulution.

anyone use any of the aluminum cases?

The best case for a Treo is definitely the pocket...unless you're a lady, of course.

    My personal favorite:

w/ Belt loop & optional tab top.
I've used if w/ my 600 for several years, and it is the only case that I've seen that will not fall off, and leaves my phone accessible while driving, when worn horizontally. I put the face toward me to protect it.
With the slippery sides of the 600, I stuck to self two 3/8" self-adhering clear drawer bumpers from Home Depot ot the top outside corners. It greatly reduced the chances of dropping it. The 755 does not seem to warrrant thisn w/ it's rubberized finish, and they don't adhere as well either.
