I've tried the knocking fix, made sure the settings are set to vibrate when the switch is both on and off but I have no vibrate.

I even removed the back cover and juiced the motor with a AA battery, it spun just fine.

    Ideas?

check the connectors - unbend them if you have to.

Hmm great idea but still no good. I also checked the voltage on the board as I got a call and the switch set to vibrate. It spiked a few microvolts, probably residual voltages flowing around the board, but did not climb higher than 0.2V.

Bad board? Or some other setting I've missed?
    Thanks,

I guess I'll try a hard reset to be sure it's nothing I've done inadvertantly.
    Thanks,

You know I think I'm getting the same problem. When I receive calls, I hear a clicking noise but no vibrate. Or sometimes the phone will vibrate but will only weakly do so - it sounds like its struggling.

Yours sounds more like a bad motor, have you swapped it? The back is super easy to pop off and the old motor just slides out. No soldering. I've read that any 180/300 motor will also work in the 600, and probably also the 90 and 650, so you could look on eBay for a parts phone. I saw several 600s for parts for less than $20 after shipping. Search on "Treo" and "parts:"

Did a hard reset, no joy. Will return it.
