    I am interested in the 755p. I have had a 650 since May 2005. Sprint has replaced my 650 six times (via warranty) since 2005 because of one issue after another. It has been replaced 3 times since January alone.

    I am $150 rebate eligible, my contract ends in 2 months & I've been with Sprint over 7 years. I am going to call retentions to what they can offer.

    Has anyone gotten the online $279 price from Retentions & had them bill your account?

    They wouldn't do it for me, and I've been a customer for like 10 years with a perfect payment record and extremely good credit. I didnt really care though.

    My guess is yes they will, since they did it for one person on my account along with another person I know with a 650 who has had 9 replacements he just received his 755p and was given the $280 web price. But then again we are all on the business accounts and credits are handled differently.

    We billed one @ $279 on account through retensions. Business account, might make a difference.

    I guess they bill for some. Depends on your Sprint account.

    I can always bill phones to my account. They billed the $379 and I got sent a $100 mail in rebate. I would have preferred everything instant but it's okay as long as I get my check.

    Thats sucks.. On the line on my business account it was given $300 instantly. But on the consumer side it says $200 off $100 mail in rebate, on the business side it says $300 off instantly.

    I had to have the phone fully billed at full cost to my account at first then after it was picked up and activated had to call back and got the $300 instant credit. But then again been with sprint for 7 years going on 8 in october and never had a late bill along with 5 phone lines on the account, I was told the account has "unlimited" credit.

    I was originally a Nextel customer ( same difference now) I wanted at the time the Treo 700p order the phone through sprint retentions got the 700p for 249..it took that phone 5 days to come although I payed for next day, went to the sprint store to activate the phone and saw the 755p but they wouldnt sell it to me becuase I ordered the 700p from rententions. called rententions on Monday (which was the official release date) and they swapped out the700p for the 755p and I recieved it for 249.00 the cost of the 700p with no rebates or anything...They did charge the 755p to my account but followed up with a full credit. So i guess each case is different.

    Yes, they did that exactly for me.
