    Okay,
So I read in another post that if you email yourself a .wav file,
[of a section of a song you want...]
that you can just download the attachment,
and import it into the sounds list,
so that it can be used as a ringtone.

    Well,
I used Cool Edit Pro to take a 15sec part of a song that I wanted,
    ["Beautiful Girls" - Sean Kingston"],
and saved it as a .wav file on my desktop.
Then I emailed myself the file,
    and downloaded the attachment,
just so that it could tell me that it's not a supported .wav file.

    Any ideas?

Well there are different levels of a wav file. Try Goldwave you can edit the frequencies, etc.
