i dont know the answer to your question, but i have another question.... isnt the screen the same resolution either way? So why do you need landscape? Its a square.

On all current Visor models the screen is a 160x160 square. Unfortunately, we don't have that fancy HandEra extended screen... yet.

There is a hack called FlipHack (as well as some others) that will allow you to rotate the screen but, again, it's 160x160 no matter how you look at it.

The viewable area on the prism screen is square. What
difference is it going to make how you hold it?

If you hold the page up button and tap SOS (in morse code) on the battery icon in the launcher, you will activate a hidden hack that will rotate your screen 360 degrees, which will increase your screen width exactly the same amount as if you were to rotate it 90 degrees.

Also ergonomic. There's slightly less strain on the wrist and arm when you're not holding the Visor at a near-vertical angle. More importantly, some people feel (again, ergonomically) that having the buttons to one side is more logical than having them centered beneath the screen, at least with some apps, like Doc readers.
