So I got my 755p last Friday after just walking into the Sprint Store to see when it would be released and being told they had 5 in the back that came that morning.

Then yesterday, I get a mailer from Sprint announcing they are putting up at least four new towers in my (home) area to improve spotty reception.

    Congrats.
I'm sure you're happy about that.
    You'll definitely see a response from you're 755 too.
I'm sure it'll be happy as well.

Did you get the Burgundy or the Blue?

Blue. Wanted to get the burgundy for the wife, but apparently my local store isn't high enough on the list to rate any burgundy models. So now we have the exact same phones.

Well, except mine has a bunch of add-on software and has been customized to within an inch of it's life. While my wife was just happy to figure out how to call her voicemail.

The cool thing about getting new towers is that the 755p was already getting ok reception at my house. Not great, but good enough for basic webbrowsing. So hopefully, with the new towers (which they say will be up within 120 days) I'll be getting full EVDO speeds.

Why dont you find a neighboring store and get the Burgandy one. I cant image the horror that would ensue if you took your wife's Treo for the day!
