Avantgo doesn't have anything for general science, and I've tried making a custom channel from UniSci.com, ScienceDaily.com, etc. So far my only science option is space crap. I'm interested in Nature Science, Biology, etc. (if they want to throw space in as well that's fine. I'm most interested in natural and biological science). Something along the lines of Discover or Discovery. What are you guys using for science news (if anything)?

Hey, I take offense to that! If you want nature news how about you look out the window, hehe.

    Sorry I really can't help.

Biology=yuck.. sorry. Space is fun! Physics is fun!

Now if we could get science (the magazine) to make an avantgo channel, THAT would be cool.

Try Scientific American magazine's site www.sciam.com and navigate to the current issue. Make that URL a new channel. I used to do that when I used AvantGo. They seemed to have a balanced mix of sciences.

Beyond2000.com has a pretty good science news AvantGo channel. =) Althou I'm not that into science, but I still prefer to know what's become possible so I don't miss to much... =P

You have the self-restraint to stay out of mac vs. pc debate, but you can't resist taking a jab at me? I don't know if that's backwards or not.

Scientific American is right up my alley. Thanks Tom! I also added Beyond2000!. I must've missed it when i was looking through AvantGo's channels. That was one I tried to add as a custom channel, but there was too much scrolling involved. Having to scroll right, and then back left, for each line is too much work.

    Thanks all (except you, lennonhead).

P.S. Mike, wait until your 18. You'll be plenty interested in biology then.

Well, I've got a custom channel set up for Bob Park's weekly commentary at the American Physical Society http://www.aps.org/WN/. He's the author of Voodoo Science (great book).

Thanks Toby. It's a nice channel as it doesn't take up much space because it's all on the front page. Seems to run the scientific gauntlet quite well.
