    Will it work?

I've tried both the release version and the beta (and set the dialing preference to Smarthphone/Treo). I get an error whenever I try to dial that it can't find the treo library or something like that.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Need to learn how to detect the device.
    Will you help ?
Install the attached utility, run it, tap the "Device" button, let me know what you see on screen.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

I installed it. When I hit "Device" it comes up with:

    1.0 0 0
    cmp=Palm, d=D060, f=823

Hope that helps - I've used it on my i500 forever and really like the program.

I'll need to reinstall it. Should I install the beta version or the release version?

    Thanks.

Using the default settings (Serial/BT in Telephony Preferences), the error is:

    Telephony Library not found (050A)

Using the Smartphone/App -> Treo settings in Telephony Preferences, the error it:

    Treo/VisorPhone interface not found

Let me know if I can provide any more info.

Shimon, will you get it working with a 755P soon? I plan on upgrading, and takephone is extremely viable for my needs/business
  12. #12
    Hi all,

    Version 7.00 (064) posted at www.shsh.com/beta

    - Treo 755p: initial support for this new device.

    - i-Bar icons: added support for icons in i-Bar
(you need to install the icons database/s from the ZIP file).

    - Call-Log: added option to view a contact call history
(all calls to/from a person) can be used from within the
call-log screen (or call details), as well as from the main
FIND screen. Note: this is done by a free-text search of
the call log, so it only finds calls with the same name.

    - Call-Log: added more actions to the call details screen
copy ALL details to clipboard, and create a Journal
    entry (DateBk6 style).

    - Misc.: a fix for CDMA phones forwarding status indicator.

    - Misc.: added support Czech accents.

    Thanks !

    Hi,

So do I take it it's working for you ?

    Does it dial ?
Does it show speed dial correctly ?
Does it show call-log correctly ?

    Thanks.

    It dials.

It's showing speed dialing correctly in my tests so far.

It's showing the call log as well.

One (very minor) thing to change in the release version...

Under Prefs./Buttons & Navigation, it says "Use green button to make calls (on Treo 680 & 700p only)

I assume that should also include the 755p - since it works.

    Thanks again.

Just had a crash when trying to switch to TakePhone by hitting the Phone button (I was on the HotSync screen after having run a hotsync). I have Reset Doctor installed, and it shows the following on the crash:

    --System crash--
    5/21/07
    12:35 pm
    While running TakePhone

    "Emul68KMain.c,
    Line:456, line 1111
    exception at address
    7315DCC6"
I just tried the same sequence again and the crash did not repeat.

I had just run a hotsync via USB to my PC. It was on the "Hotsync" screen after completing. I then hit the Phone button and it reset.
