    Hi all,

When I change the battery in my Treo 680, the favorites menu in the phone app. always resets to the arangement I had the first time I used it. After the reset I have to go through and manually update it each time. I've tried to see if it will update after a hotsync, but no luck. Every time I have to go through and add/delete and change the menu.

    Any thoughts on a solution?

    Thanks

Do you do a regular backup with a backup program? You can restore the individual file from there. It should also be in your Palm backup folder. It would be the PhoneFavorites2DB...

I don't know why it would keep defaulting to the original Favorites...sorry

It sound like your PhoneFavorites2DB file is corrupt. Try deleting it with FileZ, then creating your favorites one last time.

    Thanks guys, that worked!

I deleted the PhoneFavorites2DB file. Then rebuilt the favorites menu. It now remains the same when I remove the battery and when I sync.

Added bonus is that a couple of the palm installed favorites buttons that I don't use but couldn't delete are gone too!

    Thanks!
