    Maybe I'm just being stupid.
    But,
    I want something thats easier,
and better than the stupid calender that comes stock.
    I've googled it,
    and looked on palmgear.com,
but can't find anything thats free,
    that will work.

I just need a basic alarm,
so I can wake up for work, etc.

    Nothing fancy.

    Thanks.

There's a free but very basic alarm clock.

Switch to All - World Clock. There's an icon on the upper right hand corner of the screen. Tap on it and you can pick a time for the next 24 hours to give you an alarm.

BTW, you may want to post your 700p related questions in the 700p sub-forum.

A WatchMaker fan here. It's small (< 70KB), cool and freeware.

I use TreoAlarm - alarm and radio scheduling is free. I never use the weather updates (subscription but discontinued).

    What about this.
Is there an alarm program that is freeware,
that allows me to use my ringtones as the wake up alert?
Stupid world clock just has like 4 selections.
    Grrr.

No freeware lets you use MP3's as an alarm to my knowledge.. the best one would be palmary clock from palmarysoft: http://www.palmarysoft.com/products/...dard/overview/

Have you read the previous replies? Watchmaker is FREE and works. Watchmaker will allow you to ring your midi ringtones (I wake up to the polyphonic Terminator midi ringtone myself) but not mp3. The developer is still trying to get mp3 capability but I haven't heard from him in a while.

Butler isn't freeware but will allow you to use mp3 as an alarm too as do a lot of other commercialware.

I'm sure WatchMaker+ will be out soon.

WM+ is great for MP3 fans as it supports virtually every MP3 player on the Treo, and plays from the SD card. It's got a cool new interface too, you can see the pix on this website: http://home.arcor.de/watchm/

Cool! Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to email Jaap and see if I can beta test for him and see what he's up to.
