    How can you disconnect from the web w/out turning off your phone on the 680? On the 650, I was able to select the "disconnect" drop down option.

    Preferences--> Network --> Disconnect

    Some apps, like Blazer, Snappermail, xWeather, Handmark Express, have disconect choices in their menus

    There are also stand-alone apps that do nothing but disconnect for you. I've always used the free utility, Reset Netlib (made a favorite and universally accessible by Butler's Keylauncher function).

    Lately though, I've been using the Toggle Network function in Hi-Launcher.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

    the 680 blazer does not have this option.

    i always use NetworkDown when i want to disconnect
