This is not anything new. Their customer service has consistantly sucked. I stay with Sprint because of:

    1. Pricing
    2. Coverage
    3. Phone Selection

Once you get your account straightened out (cuz they always screw something up), it's usually smooth sailing. I dread having to call them. I go straight to retentions, even for the minor stuff. At least they speak gooder English.
I find it sad/odd that people ask to be thanked. How genuine is it when you have to ask? It's like forcing your kid to call Grandma, to thank her for the new underwear she sent for their birthday.

That is the only thing holding our relationship together. I do see better from Sprint in the future...they are just experiencing some sort of down time until they have more too offer, then the prices will go up.

Haven't had any problems with their reps since I started saying "Cancel" whenever I call *2. Always get some one who speaks native English (even if they're sometimes in Canada).

No one can even match the data services offered at the prices and the coverage. Its basically a 'pick your poison' kinda deal. Cingular and T-Mobile have to be highly trained to calm down their furious customers when they learn of all the limitations they have! I was in a Cingular store the guy tried to get me to switch and I asked him about their new unlimited SMS plans. I asked if that includes texting to email addresses and he said "No!" Then I said "Thats why I stay with Sprint...cant beat the data services," and he tried to back-pedal! As long as things work, then they are the best. But when you have to get something fixed, enlarge your patience gland!!

Never had a problem with sprint CS until the other day. I got bounced to 3 different people, having to re-explain my story to each one.

The last guy i talked to said he would connect me with a Treo Specialist. "Wow!" I thought..."Sprint has Treo specialists, cool!!!!" He connected me to Palm. I hope he dies in a fire.

If you think phone support is bad, try Sprint e-mail support one of this days...they almost always address a random issue that was not asked ignoring the original qwery completely.
    Have a great one...Doc D.

Sprint customer service gave me unlimited text messaging for free via their email customer service.

They also applied my corporate discount to my SERO plan, without any problems.

    I <3 Sprint CS

My experience unfortunately has been less than stellar with email support.

I called them for a PRL update (20227) to bad it didn't fix the consant band switiching causing dropped calls and "signal faded messages" (hope the MR will fix it) and it took 4 calls after them hanging up on me twice and 2 dropped calls due to band switiching to finally get my account flagged LOL. Look at it this way, at least its better then Cingular, they told me to go **** myself in different words

I don't care about all that. only time I call customer service is to activate a new phone. I pay my bill and all that monthly stuff online. they have good cell and evdo to me. I don't really care too much about the customer service, not why I signed up with sprint

I guess if I haven't had any problems with verizon in years stay with them, and eventually pay the 44.95 data fee? Data may be cheaper elsewhere, but coverage and c/s is where its at...
About 3 of those companies I deal with without a problem...Why do anything half-*ssed is what people tell me.

My phone was "flashed" with the most recent PRL (I did not ask for it) the last time I called *2 to activate a new phone, since then I am having problems with signal strength in my home (dropped calls) and problems accessing Vision services...out of my home is OK (my home had good reception before the PRL).

    Anyone else with similar problems?
