It seems Blazer has a problem displaying large images on my 650. It always display just a square box. Whether mode I've tried, Optimized or wide page, it's the same results. I even tried opening an image size 640x480 taken with the camera using file://... and it just show a square box. Smaller sized images are fine so I'm wondering if u ppl are seeing the same? Searched the forums but seems no mention of this.

Can you give me a sample site to test?

Ok, you can try this. Take a pic 640x480 with your treo camera and save it to your card. Use blazer to open the image. For e.g. your card name is 'YYY 2GB' and your pic filename is xxx.jpg. On the blazer, Go to: file://YYY%202GB/DCIM/xxx.jpg where %20 represent a space. See if you can view the pic. I was not able to.

Hmm, mine seems to load fine. I have a GSM Treo running 1.20 ENA with fast mode blazer v4.3 and UDMH.

I don't know if all that matters tho?

Mine is 1.20APR and also using FM blazer. Original blazer also same problem. Did a hard reset to try and also see the same issue. I'm not using UDMH so I'm not sure whether will adding this help? Will try out and see.

Tried UDMH, but it's still the same. Anyone has any ideas? If not, think I will stick to webpro.

Are you sure that in Blazer Options you have not enabled Do Not Load Images?
  8.    #8
Yeah, definitely did not enable "Do Not Load Images". The blazer simply load the jpg/gif files but did not display the images. It just shows a grey-border box with a red cross on a grey square at the top left corner. When I view the page info, it did load the image as I can see the size but it simply cannot display it.

Tried my friend's treo 650 and it seems to be the same issue. Is this an inherent issue with APR verison I wonder?

I've had the same problem in Quick Tour (uses Blazer engine) and the only thing that worked for me - creating a new custom ROM/reflashing the original ENA 1.20

    Have you tried:
    (from Blazer)
Menu > Options > Preferences > General > select normal mode

EDIT: Never mind. I forgot we were talking about a 650.

Did some more checking, and found that my blazer could only display sizes up to 216 x 215 pixels. Anything else bigger than that is a blank box. Seriously, what the hell? Do anyone know what's wrong?

Something extra I want to ask... Read somewhere that Versamail cannot disaplay images right? Pop my gmail but cannot see images in the html emails.

I have the same problem with imagaes.
Blazer doesn't show them but !!!....

... you can save them and take a look with the mediamanager!
just press a longer time with the stylus on the picture and it willaks where to save it.

just a workaround but no solution...

how is it possible to see the pics directly on the website???

Figured out what caused the problem when I was thinking about it today while using Blazer. And it is..... CJKOS!!!! If enabled, the missing image issue will be there. When disabled, no problem seen and all images loaded and displayed.

Was thinking what may have caused this issue and in my mind I was thinking whether the CJKOS is causing it since the standard English ROMs are not seeing this problem. My guess is that CJKOS uses up too much memory running in the background and cause the missing images in Blazer. Oh well, finally.
