Haven't done the hard reset yet...it's such a pain in the a**!

It's a pain, but probably your last option to fix the problem.

How did you make out with the hard reset?

I'm assuming you didn't resync the Treo to the computer, right?

I'd hate to see what happens if you shave off all your hair.
    at&t Treo 680, SW 2.11-ATT
    Cingular Treo 650 Unlocked, SW 1.17-CNG/FW 1.51

    I would hard reset.
Then I would sync contacts only.
    See if it resets.
Continue installing apps one at a time, until it starts resetting.

I did resync to the computer.

You have to be kidding, right???

    Actually I am not kidding.
That's how you will figure out what is resetting your phone.
I did it once. Found out what the program was and didn't install it.

If you hard reset your phone, then sync it, all its doing is putting everything back on it again, so it won't solve your problem.

I may go shave my head now.....

A hard reset is to clear your device and see if you have a hardware problem without any third party apps. If you find that your hardware is fine, then you have to do the clean install procedure to narrow down the possiblities of it being software causing the resets...

    Cadman...any news??

Here's an easier way to find out what's causing the resets: download TraceCrash 1.0.

I thought it only told you what was running and the error message when it crashed and that it doesn't tell you what actually caused it.
