Thanks, great application. In my Treo 680 in fast mode sometimes is not blinking, but medium is fine.
Power consumption in my Treo 680:
Service LED off - 0,62% per hour
Service LED fast - 2,94% per hour
Service LED medium - 1,80% per hour.
In medium additional power consumption is around 1,18% per hour.
    Not a lot.

Fast mode works for me; it really should be named, "normal", though.

Is it possible, though, to tweak it so it doesn't over-ride the solid, unblinking LED notifications generated by apps like Bulter or Show Off? I can't use this otherwise.

The light goes off after few minutes. Comes back when you wake up your Treo. Is there a chance leaving it ON?

I am with Bill here - fast should really be "NORMAL".

Otherwise looks great. Any chances having the notifications back - received SMS or missed call. Butler does only solid green on. I would prefer fast blinking........Cheers, Mike

But thanks for the great link I'm sure some will really welcome this. (not tongue in cheek).

This has got to be the most useless comment ever.

gee, that wasnt expected.... arent you a clever cat.

The creator of this thread simply wanted to point out an app. Opinions about whether or not to use this app are completely and utterly irrelevant.

Irrelevant to whom? To what? I think what you mean to say is that they are irrelevant to you and your needs. However, I don't think there are any rules on this site defining the limits of relevance to users in general. Therefore, I think you really should have said, "This is the most useless comment TO ME ever." Nobody could argue with that, assuming you know your needs.

Actually for many, simply posting the app isn't nearly as important as additional posts about the limits of the app. So it is highly relevant, your opinions to the contrary, that others found this app a complete waste of time.

Maybe he really meant babel, like the movie, or the fish, or the tower. It would have been more insightful and useful than his other comments if that was the case...

The Tower came to mind when I read his post, but I don't think that's what he was going for...

Hey, I installed this last night, and I think Bigcatny and LeszekW are right. There is a substantial power drain with this software (which surprised me). Looking at Battery Graph, the treo is active almost constantly and the drain has at least doubled on standby. I am ditching this software right now.

It probably increases the running battery usage by a few percent as noted, but seems to never let the Treo sleep.

Of course, if you use Chatter, VeriChat, or other background apps, this doesn't matter as the Palm rarely sleeps with them anyway. However, if you're more of a minimalist, then you'd definitely notice the difference.
