Sorry for the rant, I just have to get this off of my chest! I am so sick of Seidio. They have sent me the wrong Crystal case for a Treo 700p 4 times! the three replacements along with the original all cracked at the tabs. I get one it breaks, I pay to ship it back, they send me one, two weeks later it breaks and they I pay to ship it back! I am so sick of there inferior products. I have given up and decided to count my 30$, along with about 20$ more that I have paid in return shipping, a loss. I don't want a new case seidio, I want my money back! Everyone, do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from Seidio. I will post this at every single forum that deals with Treos, Smartphones or Palm's if I need to. I don't want anyone else to put up with the crap that I have had to deal with for a way overpriced 30$ case

Wow! Four cases and they all broke? That is bad...

Yeah, the fourth one just broke a few minutes ago. It is not like I am constantly taking the cases off the phone either, I have only taken the cases off to ship them back.

i got about three treo 700p rubberized cases in which were really for the treo 700w, so the tabs did crack but on the 4th case they got it right

for the price it isnt the best quality but they do provide accessories that u cant find elsewhere, so they got u by the b*lls !

My wife got sick of her case for the treo 700p breaking and finally bought a cheap 5$ hard case from ebay and hasn't had a problem. So if the 5$ cases can prove to work, why cant a 30$ case!

Well I got my 5th replacement on april 14th and today it broke. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB.

    Yea, Seidio = crap.

But like someone said, I don't see a lot of the products being produced by anyone else.

For other stuff, yes. But, there are plenty of other sources for cases...

I've heard great things about zCover, but I don't personally have one.

I wonder if it is hard to type with the case covering the keyboard?

i had the flexiskin from palm that covered the keyboard and i actually liked the way it felt and gave buttons more grip that allowed me to type faster

i just wonder how the material of the zcover compares to the flexiskin material

I've been using the crystal case for my 680 for a few weeks now. I've only taken it off maybe 3 times and I was very careful each time.

So far, I'm happy with the crystal case

I actually prefer the keys covered for typing. The keys are slippery and the silicone prevents my nails from sliding off.

How about you buy, I try...

    I prefer the Palm Flexiskin.

I had the original seidio 700 series crystal case and its tabs cracked. I exchanged it for the new version as soon as it came out and haven't had any issues. I rarely take my case off which might be why mine has held together so well.

I find that the crystal case from Proporta seems quite okay, but then I don't try to break it or drop it or whatever. I've been using it for a while and I hope that the tab doesn't break. But so far it's been fine.

Obviously a review is in the works.

    how about a link ?

I'm still working on the review right now in addition to other stuffs. I will post a link once it's posted on my Palm Discovery website. Sorry about that.

But like I said, it's pretty good but then, I haven't tried other crystal cases so I can't really compare.
