(oh well, never mind, I found it. Hadn't tried to actually use 'autocorrect' as search string... stupid me)

    Hi *,

I have the following problem with my new Treo680 (great little device BTW): when I enter some text, it always replaces the word "im" with "I'm". I have setup the Treo in English language but still type messages in German quite often, where "im" is a perfectly legal and respected word, whereas "I'm" is not.

This is just about as annoying as Outlocks Autocorrect 'feature'. Any idea how I can turn it off? Couldn't find it in the manual...

    TIA for any help,
    SB

P.S.: while I'm at it: the good old shortcuts (shortcuts-ds for datestamp) still work, but I don't see where they can be changed. Is there a place for that?

That was removed that from the newer Treos. You should look at installing ShortCut5.
