    Hi,
    Is it possible to re-assign the Home button to another app? I know if you press the 'blue' button (beside 'z') and the Home button, it switch...but I m thinking whether can I totally reprogram it to launch zLauncher for instance? The default Applications app seems redundant as I m used to my zlauncher...

    Cheers.

    Without special software, I believe only programs which declare themselves to be "Launchers" can take over the Home button.

    For ZLauncher, it is no problem. On the preferences screen, select the "General" tab then just check the "Default Launcher" checkbox.

    I thought so too...but my zlauncher "default launcher" is checked but it still show me the pre-installed Applications app when the Home button depressed...any idea why?

    Butler lets you assign any app to the Home key
    Thought of the day :
    No sense being pessimistic, it probably wouldn't work anyway

    Hmm slightly off topic but can Butler remap the Phone app button too?
    Treo 600 --> Dell Axim x51v --> Copper 680

    LudusP also lets you do this. I use it on my 700p and 680.

    Yes

    It does depend on what Treo you are using.
    On a 650 the Button's option is very limited, but on the 680 it can do a lot more, including the All-In-One key.

    So on a 680 I think it can do most, if not all, that LudusP can do

    There's also a freeware alternative, PPrefs. It will let you remap Home and Phone. This is old software, so it refers to these buttons as "Memo" and "Datebook" respectively.

    Go figure.

    Works, though.
