    So i was deleting text messages when all of a sudden it crashes... i figured ehh this happens every couple weeks its alright. WELL iit would go through the loading screen then when it showed the PALM POWERED logo. it would crash again and just keep going. trying to load then crash trying to load then crash. so i did system restore restore and soft reset didnt fix the problem. althought it did let me to the main menu under system restore but i couldnt turn the phone on. im pretty sure thats normal though.
    I DIALED #*377 AND MESSAGE I GOT WAS:

    "a crash on 3/19/07 at 3:55 pm while running ''messaging":
    FATAL EXCEPTION

    ...what the hells that mean...fatal exception scares me.
    someone help me here.

    I'm not sure exactly what your error message meant, but "Fatal Exception" is fairly common. I get it after certain spontaneous resets, usually in the phone app...

    I hope you've backed up recently, you'll probably need to wipe the phone to get it back working.

    Try a warm reboot and see if it comes back to life. If not you'll need to clear the phone by holding the up arrow button and the power button while resetting the phone. Once the phone powers up, release the power button, then wait and release the up arrow. You should see the "erase all data" screen. Choose the up arrow and that will reset the device back to the factory image. You'll need to reload all your data, but you might want to delete the messages DB first. . .

    It's worked for me, hope you have good results.
