I didn't notice that. I wonder if it was supposed to be under Palm (POS) instead.

I wouldn't call it 'hard' evidence... as bigboy said, it doesn't make much sense. But then, it could just be an error on Goodlink's part. Check out what's listed under the Palm OS devices, note the "Cingular Palm Treo 750."

Maybe I was just a little too excited However, didn't the 680 first get released exclusively through Cingular?

And as an unlocked version at the same time.

Been reading all the different things about upcoming releases for Palm as well as WM6, ALP, etc. I know the 700p stands for palm, but that's because there was already the 700w/x. However the p could stand for professional (as in WM6 Pro - this doesn't seem likely though). Then it could be a 750 with WM6 and 320*320 resolution (which is only now supported in WM6). That last point is interesting as not sure if the 750 with WM6 upgrade would support the new resolution.

Or maybe P stands for "pathetic treo users will buy anything"...

    I admit i'm guilty.

It is also listed under WM devices as 755p....hence the letter p.

Damn, I SO want to upgrade from my 650 which is stable, except when using stereo bluetooth headphones that cause freezing and resets -so I need a phone that is more SAG friendly - I still dont see the need to go to a windows product----yet.....
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...

I remember a while back, Cingular's own website notes Palm OS on the 750 as well as Windows Mobile. Not sure if they change it. They probably have non-cell phone techies building websites or writing documentation.
