Does TAKEphONE have an option to disable keyguard with a press of the phone key?

Nope, not that I know of. You can try Butler.

I'm trying to get rid of Butler...but am finding that the keyguard comes up in TAKEphONE. Perhaps Apt will help.

Shimon could always implement the API for Butler to allow TakePhone to disable the keyguard. Rob says its pretty simple.

Trying it out with my TouchLauncher icons as transparent background .bmp's. So far, I like this. Can I make the square application buttons more transparent or completely gone with the skin tool?

    Hi Shimon,

The keyguard has a means for blocking itself when receiving a call or SMS. The issue I have though, is that after a phone call (and with the option checked to bring the device back to TAKEphONE at the end of the call), the Keyguard then comes up and I have to dismiss it. Can we have an option to dismiss keyguard while in TAKEphONE? Butler has the ability to pick two apps that will dismiss the keyguard, which is what I've been using up to this point, but I have replaced so many of the functions in Butler with other apps, that I've decided to get rid of Butler. Thanks.

More transparent, no. Completely gone, yes, by making the background bitmap whatever color is assigned to transparency for that button in the resource file.

I would not think that he would. A whole different way of going about things.

Yet Shimon has been working on porting (or creating) TakePhone into other platforms such as iPhone, Android, etc. So I wouldn't see why not the Pre.

Hey, I remember reading about this once before but can't find it. So, sorry for the post if it has been discussed before.

I'm a proud owner of TakePhone. I love this program and the customer service. When using the phone and after hanging up my Treo 755 displays the default phone application and not takephone. I have to press the phone button in order to get back to takephone. What setting do I need to make to make takephone stay active after a phone call??

    Thanks in advance.

Preferences, Treo/Centro tab, drop down choice between Vmail and "TX" delay, choose "Return after ALL calls".
If you found my post useful then please sign up for a Dropbox Account, I could use the extra 250mb of storage.

    Shimon,
Never mind on request #1 - Signal color. Phwelo has created a set of 16 bit icons that show on top of any color background so no worries on this one. Request #2 still stands though for the system alert icon to show instead of the "Yellow Bell"
