    Hi All,

Does anyone know how to change the daylight savings settings for WorldMate (other than upgrading to the latest version) to accomadate the new effective dates of 2nd Sunday of March - 1st Sunday of November? I know I can edit every individual city, but that is very tedious.

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

    Thanks,
    TL

Did you apply, or allow to be automatically applied, the Windows DST updates?

yes, i did both the palm and windows update. the time was correct for weeks. it's only after i went to worldmate itself and selected sync time with the atomic server that it messed up the worldmate times

I am wondering what good the DST update is, I installed it and nothing happend, I had to set "World Clock" my self, and I would think if you have an appointment at say 7:00 pm it will show up as being that time, so what good is the update other then to take up memory on the devise?
    Thanks

I did not find an automated way to fix the WorldMate timezones so I went into each city individually and changed the DST settings. I also applied the Palm DST update and Windows patch. After I did all this, I didn't have any problems. BTW, I do not use WorldMate to set the time -- I have my phone set to update the time over the cell network.

Hope you are able to resolve your issues.

I updated every city in the database that is in the US and Canada. It was a pain, but I probably won't have to do it again for the next 50-100 years!

if you contact mobimate (manufacturer) and can prove your purchase they will give you the updated version...
