Is it possible to get rid of the white border around the screen? I found an app called BlackBorder but it doesn't work on the 700p. Is there another app or any other way of getting rid of it?

    Thanks...

Sorry about that.. It drives me nuts. But I use a black theme and dark wallpaper so to me, it's very noticeable.

    I frickin HATE IT!

this leads me to the question

If it's a 320x320 screen, does that mean we are getting only a useable 318x318 screen? It's worse when using SprintTV or anything that has a dark image and there is a bright white border around EVERYTHING.

I'm not sure why this portion of the screen is not useable or alterable?

    Or is it?

    Try this: http://www.palmgear.com/?xyz=124519

I don't know if it will work because I haven't tried it on the 700P.

I have been wondering about the damn white border for a long time now, I'm gonna try that app.
I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by fleeing the scene of the accident!

Yeah, sorry about that. My intentions were good...

You'd think that with all of the brilliant Palm OS developers (ahem! Jeff Gibson ahem!) you'd think that someone could come up with a solution to this little aggravation.
