What do you guys use for a picture viewer?

Ive heard good things about SplashPhoto but Im curious what else is out there and why you guys like them? Please feel free to comment on Splash as well.

I started a similar thread about another program (password/ID tracker) in the apps forum and got great response.

Preferably it would either plug into the POS desktop or, have its own desktop companion.

    Thanks guys!

I use Resco Photo Viewer - http://resco.net/palm/photoviewer/default.asp. In addition, I also have been known to use DTG, though Resco is better. It also has a desktop based album generator.

AcidImage blows all the others out of the water IMHO, and I've tried all the ones mentioned here plus a few others. Very fast zoom/pan/scroll (and you can save the settings for each picture so you get the same view of it next time you open it), good filing system, good slide show features, and understands more file types than others. Not all jpegs are created equal, and most viewers don't display progressive jpegs (whatever that means) but AcidImage displays everything I throw at it with no conversion necessary.

The desktop component of Splashfoto is quite good, but overall I prefer Resco photoviewer. It also allows you to create a private photo file.

Ok Ive purchased Acid-Image and after using it for quite some time Ive come up with a few questions about some features Id like and wondering if the other products have them...

Can you launch a slide show from a folder of pictures without touching the screen? Either using the 5way nav or an option in the menus? Can the slide show be random each time you launch that folders slide show?

Either or both SplashPhoto or Resco's Photo viewer desktop component do the following...
    1) set them up to sync to them vs the Palms media
    2) same question about slide shows... does the desktop side support slideshows
    3) are the slide shows random each time you lauch it?
    4) does the slide show, show the whole picture

Again questions 1-4 are dealing with the desktop component.

    Thanks guys!
