I've called Sprint, gone to the store and done my research, but can't get info on the following.

I noticed it said on the site you can get 20 Sirius chanells thru Sprint's package, but I'd like to have access to the entire Sirius lineup. I have a Sirius account already, is it possible to access Sirius thru the Treo 700P? If so, how would I do this, just go through the internet on the Treo to sirius.com and click Listen Now? Would that work?

For those that know, Sprint offers with the package, SprintTV. Are these live shows or just video's? Anyone know what the chanell lineup is? I can't find it on Sprint's crap site.

Also, what is the "OnDemand" option?

Lastly, with the unlimted Internet access thru Sprint, is the unit always online, or do you have to connect each time you want to access an internet application?

    Thanks!!!!!!

On Demand = Handmark's Pocket Express

A pre-packaged news, weather and sports Internet portal.

On Demand's basic channels are a 'free' part of your 700P's Power Vision package. You will have to pay a monthly extra charge for the maps and 411 channels -- but I think you get a free 30 day trial.

(Others can direct you to free sites for 411 and maps.)

    Cheers, Perry

Didnt I hear some where that you can stream your Sirius through the internet or create a login that will allow you to listen to your account online? I am not sure, my roommate used to have it! If so, then you can use Kinoma or even pTunes to stream it via your Treo (with internet, of course).

Everyone so far, THANK YOU!!! Sorry for being such a newb...I just don't know much about this. In 30 minutes you've provided me 100 times more info then Sprint has. I've spoken to, literally, 6 different people (2 online, 3 on the phone (sales, technical, cust serv) and one in the sprint store. Not ONE was able to tell me about Sirius or what the TV lineup is!

You can stream Sirius through their website on a computer, but they use their own media player which is apparently not compatible with the Treo. Are Kinoma and that other one app's that convert the stream? Sprint advertises they give you 20 Sirius chanells, but I doubt they are ones I want and I'd love to have access to all of them. They just can't tell me how I'd be able to do that...I already have an account with Sirius though.

    BClancy - THANK YOU!!
I'm a bit unclear though what those mean. I'd be getting the SprintTV Ultimate package which includes all the chanells they have available so I think the ones that say < will cost extra > should be included. Is any of it actual TV like you would see on a TV or is it all just video crap? Can you sit there and watch all day if you want?

I like the news, so that's good, and sports. I have a TON of downtime at work so that'd be a clutch feature.

I was hoping by the titles they might be clear to you. (I don't even have cable TV at home). On the basic plan, most of the stuff is like only one or two episodes of only 2 or 3 shows total. You probably get more with ultimate, but I'd wait until you find an ultimate subscriber to see how many things might still be al-la-carte before signing up based on the assumption that everything's included. (I doubt it is.)

I know you can stream XM, but I've never seen anything yet saying you can stream Sirius via Kinoma Player. Go to their web site and find the forums. Maybe someone there will know.

PS: I just read that XM an Sirius have announced intent to merge.
(I woudn't bank on both services becoming interoperable anytime soon though.)
