I am using the Mail application (v.1.02Beta) on my POS Treo 650 on Sprint. I didn't like Versamail. I have a website through GoDaddy and the email for the domain name requires confiiguring a client with outgoing server port set to 3535. I don't see how to do this in Mail.

Which email clients allow this level of configuration. Is there a work-around in Mail?

    Thanks.

Versamail lets you do it in the Advanced Settings...

You can use the standard port (25) if your provider doesn't block it.

The documentation tells people to use 3535 because most residential ISPs block access to 3rd party mail servers on port 25 to limit the amount spam coming from the millions of malware-infected Windows machines on their networks.

Thanks. Regardless of the port number, I need an email client that will let me configure that bit of information. Any alternatives to VersaMail?
