My unbranded 650 (from Vienna Channels a couple of years ago) started displaying the white screen of death when it gets cold. It got bad enough that I can't use it any more. I finally got around to opening it up and looking for anything unusual. I blew compressed air around everything, which didn't help. After quite a bit of experimentation, I discovered that putting pressure on the bottom corner nearest the headphone jack would cause the problem. I took out the screw in that corner and so far, no further problems, even when I take it outside on this cold day in the Poconos.

I'll try using the phone without the screw, but I don't want to have to worry about accidentally squeezing it too hard. I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts about a more permanent fix. TIA

It's been working for over 24 hours now. Maybe this could help someone else? And does anyone have any ideas about a more solid fix?
